Hi all,

I am repairing a MY03 Vectra C, Z18XE car.
The problem is that very often the needles on instrument cluster fallen down and ABS telltale light up. In this case the engine keeps running, no problem with the performance at all. While this problem is present no communication with engine control module. I tried it many scanner, but all of them failed to communicate with engine ECU. So it is obviusly not scanner problem.
After this I stop the running engine and try to start again. But no success. There is no cranking. And many TC stored in lot of control unit.
TC's are:
"CAN-BUS no communication with engine ECU"
"CAN-BUS no communication with ABS"

While the car doesn't want to crank, I plug off ABS multi-plug then ignition on. And same problem again. No cranking  :-[

I am trying ignition on-off, on-off, on-off a few times, then everything is OK, the car starts perfectly, and I can establish communication with engine ECU too.  ;D

I checked ABS, and Engine ECU multi-plug socket. The car already got a brand new CIM module.

I have found on the internet that it is pretty common problem, but everybody are very smart on the internet. They are just guessing. Nothing exact solution.

Anyone has any idea ?  ???  ???
