Astra H 2008
« on: March 13, 2010, 08:02:33 »
Hello,
Just for you information, here in Canada we have the Astra H as Saturn Astra.
Where is the diagnostic connector located in the Astra H 2008?
Do you have control on closing and opening the windows via the remote control?
Thanks

Hi there.
Have you checked under the ashtray in the center-console for the diagnostic connector? -Normally just lift up the ashtray and you'll see it under there.
If not it is probably under the dashboard (driver side) where the plastic cover ends and over the pedals.

Normally on newer Opel's, if you press the Open-button on the remote for 3 sec or more it will open the windows, close the windows by holding the Close-button for 3 sec or more.

Hope this helps.

Thanks for the quick response, I have located the socket (connector). It is under the steering column.
GM in North America allowed us to open all windows when you push the open on the remote control for more than 3 sec. but to close them you need to go close one by one from each window.

On top of that Astra here does not have an audio input however I saw the audio input in the similar year model in Germany. Hope I can add all of these options here.
