Title: having a software problem with opel scanner
Post by: geffd65 on February 07, 2009, 12:57:50: Having a software problem with my opel scanner- I have been using it for nearly two years with no problems but now it is coming up with an error - even the disc will not re-load for some reason.

is there away i can download the latest software from this site?

The ID code is: A372 purchased may 07 from Chris Whittle who purchased a few from you

The software is: 1.0.1.65 - this now only goes to start up screen then when you select ecu it comes up with an error and then closes, disc will not load even to another laptop

That said, I have just tried the new software with my hardware, and I get a message saying the hardware is not correct for this version of the software, and that I should stop before my hardware is deactivated or something!

The only information on the dongle is A371.
My original version of the software is A371 1,0,1,61 - This stopped working when I select ECU.
The recent software you provided is A361 1,0,1,71 - This conflicts with hardware when I press start.

Is there another version of the software I can try?

I'm having some problems at connecting to engine ecu. Immobilizer and some other ecus works fine. My car is -95 Omega B 2.0 16v and ID: A427 originally bought from Elekma Oy Finland, I bought this from my friend, got also the original receipt. Software is 1.0.1.70.

Sorry for the long delay - i recently tried your suggestion of putting it in as an omega but it didn't work, i work a lot with these cars not a problem with the C25XE but will not connect to the X25XE - the only difference with this engine in the calibra is it has secondary air injection - it is listed in the ecu menu but doesn't connect - is there a software fix for this?
