Post by: s.thompson16 on October 12, 2008, 18:45:32
Just replaced an egr valve that was stuck open on a corsa c z12xe. Cleared all faults and road tested after 5 minutes driving warning light came on with fault code p1405 unknown fault. Has anyone come across this problem.

This is still EGR valve error. It has 3 different variants, one of this is malfunction of EGR evalueted via internal ECU logic.
What was previous errors in system?  You need to take a look at data voltage feedback for EGR valve. Or you can use a test for valve using additional procedures.

Previous faults were egr valve error and random multiple missfire detected. Old egr valve return was stuck at about 3.60 volts. after replacement it now varies between 0.70 - 3.60 volts.

ASM once again, correct your profile. Also the good way is to take a look at the date of last post. You are trying to help after almost 4 years since the question was resolved.
