Title: Vectra remote central locking problem
Post by: Jimbob GSI 3.0 on January 25, 2008, 12:25:33
Artur. I have a 1999 Vectra V6, and i have tried programming a remoe central locking "blipper" and i cannot access the ecu.
I have successfully programmed a new key into the immobiliser, but so far cannot gain access to the central locking. I have tried on various Vectra`s, and having used the Opelscanner a lot now I`m stumped as to why i cannot access that ecu.
I have tried varying the year, and model, and various settings to no avail. And i have sent some log files into you.
I hope you can show me what to do, or provide an update to allow me to program remote central locking keys, as this is one of the most frequent things i`m asked to do.
Cheers,
James.

Hi James,
In the logs you sent you have connection to atws, not to cdls. ATWS and CDLS are mutually excluding modules.
You can not have both at the same time. Shortly, the ATWS is CDLS+anti theft alarm. As a result, there no connection problem. What we need to do now, is to program remote key to ATWS, right?

What i want to do is program a new key to the central door locking mechanism/alarm.
I have tried accessing the ecu, through the body control menu tab. The activity lights start to flash, then stop.
I can access the menus for the immobiliser (thats not the problem), i want to be able to program keys so that they open the doors and turn off the alarm with out need for the keyblade and chip. Just the buttons on the key fob.

Yeah but when i try and gain access it just stops. And I can access the Immobiliser to enter keys, but cannot access anything to enter radio keys.
Any help/tip would be greatly appreciated.

Hi James,

This function has not implemented yet. I'll do my best to add it ASAP.

Artur

Yes I have the code. I can program Immobiliser chips, but not the remote central locking.

Artur.
I know it`s been a while but has this feature been enabled yet??
Because I`d like to be able to add radio keys, to my car.
Cheers,
James.

Hi James,

Sorry, but currently I work hard on adding features to CAN modules. I do my best to add features on non CAN cars too.

May be it's not new but... The synhronisation of remote key transmitter is a problem only in case of not original key for this car.
If once key has been working with this car the syncronisation is very simple. You need to turn ignition on and press any key button once - that's all.
If somebody interested let me know and i provide with m a litle br vore complicated procedure which makes possible to syncronise any "alien" key to the car. It is not any decision against OPEL-SCANNER program possibilities but it would help Artur to temparary resolve problem, because he is very busy.

This would be good.

It is alien keys that I wish to program, as I am more than familiar with the resetting proceedure you posted.
I just think that as I can program transponder keys, it would be good to be able to add radio keys also!!
