Can I connect the same meter without restrictions on one token?

Artur:
1 token works for 1 coding session as long as you are keep connection. During that session you can code unlimited times, only 1 token will be gone.

A friend used 6 tokens to try different setups on my 8" display IPC - Insignia-B 2018.
We didn't know we have to wait for the car to enter sleep mode, and tried every option - OPC 1, 2, VXR Unlimited, Buick, and again.
6 tokens later, we are on VXR Unlimited setup, we see no change other than VXR Unlimited badge...
We wasn't able to see what does OPC1 and 2 bring, because of the sleep thingy.
Can you help us with some info about the different setups, please?
Is there any way to recover at least some of the wasted tokens?
