Hi,

Mini OBD2 is not recommended, as it can have many issues with our application.
Please try to get one of these adapters, see the link:
http://www.opel-scanner.com/forum/index.php?topic=2574.0

They are OK, especially the first one - it is the best one I ever seen.

Just for case, can you send me your log files also?
What is the official diagnostic tool for Opels in Brasilia?

I would suggest that in a next version of our selves choose dashboards like the TORQUE known, it would allow a custom screen with key data chosen. For example, in the LITE version, we could have RPM and speedometer. In the full version the other options. It would be an evolution for ScanMyOpel.

OP-COM normally reads these ECUs

however, OP-COM is not Bluetooth. For this we need to have a laptop with USB connection to read data. Too complicated for a world uncomplicated.

Newer versions of Astras Brazilians work with any version of OBD2 SCAN and various types of tools. However, the vast majority are older market

i got some info from my B vectra with lite version and my wifes galaxy S3, but when im using my galaxy note II and try to connect, the app freezes and crashes.
Id like to buy that "no lite" version but Id like to be sure that it works with my Note II before i do that.

So is it known bug and will be fixed or does someone know for sure that if I buy real deal, it really works with Note II and vectra B? :)

It could be a compatibility issue with Note2. Can you send me the logs?

working fine on Frontera B 2002 Y22DTH, with mini ELM bluetooth adapter, reading fault codes, erasing them, reading live data and ecu's info ... just no AT/ABS readings ... just showing connectig to ecu and than no response.

has anyone connected the 3 pins from the adapter together ? isn't there a risk of frying the car's ECU or something? can the "joining" of the pin's 3 7 and 12  be done in the car's OBD port instead of the adapter side ???

Thanks.

Hi,  ABS will not work on that car. Actually, this is Isuzu, not Opel, and ABS uses some other protocol from Isuzu.

You can connect all 3 lines - nothing is gonna happen.

Right... thanks for the quick replay ... it is Isuzu (somehow, not shure about the car's ECU if it's GM or Isuzu) but on this car the ABS info can be read with Tech2 scan tool (i guess that scan tool that is quite expensive includes also the protocol you were talking about)  so I hoped there is a small chance I could trick it somehow to make it work on OpelScanner. It works on ISO 9141-2  protocol ... so maybe something on pin 15 - L line for ISO 9141 -2 ? Or is it the adapter itself can not interpret the data? Anyway ... great piece of program you have here! Thumbs up for the great work!

PS: at the next update could you please make the app work also in landscape mode? I am using it on a china tablet that I integrated in my car and it's a little annoying to use it in portrait mode. Since now I could not make it to work in landscape. 10x.

Troubles.
Any off ScanMyOpel softwares won't work.
No connection to ecu or missing livedata and tc.
Mostly no connection.
I tried both my Samsung device and all my bt-adapters.
No luck.
