2007 Opel Astra H GTC - Display not turning on and climate controls not working

Help!

My friend in Romania has a 2007 Open Astra GTC and ever since she had the battery replaced the screen will not turn on and the climate controls are not working. Radio and CD player are working fine. Everything else related to electronics seems to work. She took the car to 3 different mechanics and they couldn't figure out what the problem is. Any ideas?

It is possible to help in Bucuresti. The problem is well known. I have friend in Bucuresti and he can send the unit to me to fix the problem. 
Sau in Chisinau ssau in Bucuresti. Daca trebu eu pot se dau un numar de telefon prietenului in Bucuresti. Problema asta e cunoscuta.

What unit are you reffering to? The ECU?
