Astra G Airbag

Hi again, I posted this in the Diagnostic Forum, English, as my question is android orientated thought it more appropriate here..............

Hi all, great site, love the app but.....was wondering if anyone has diagnosed the airbag system for the Astra G or have been able to have it as one of the options to scan, I refer to the pins connection on the elm scan tool, I haven't done the pin thing yet as I'd hope the obdlink mx or plx kiwi WiFi would be capable of doing this without pin joining, any thoughts, opinions would be greatly appreciated,

Hello Pete,

Unfortunately, Airbag on Astra G can not be diagnosed by any of ELM-family devices. The communication protocol is not supported by ELM, I'm sorry.

You can get our PC based device, which is 100% compatible with Astra G fully.

Hi Artur, cheers for the reply I was sort of hoping that I could diagnose with the smartphone and elm instead of waiting for laptop to load and using my Rennacs system which does most makes, models and systems, well, 95% of anyway. Nonetheless,your app is perfect for all other issues that may arise, except it keeps saying my Opel is 6cyl??, any thoughts about this?

Is there a way to install your app on my laptop windows based?
If yes, can you point me to the info like what characteristics should have the laptop?
The cost of the app?
Which device/OBD to use with the windows app?
